I don't know about you, but I spend my time relaxing in front of my computer screen not the TV screen. Over the years my interest in telly has diminished more and more. When I was younger I loved the soaps, but when Bet left Corrie that was the end for me! Reality TV can have it's moments and I admit being a fan of I'm A Celebrity...love to watch those celebrity types suffering, and there have been a few comedies which have got me hooked, such as Still Game (brilliant fun, with two Glasgow pretend-pensioners doing a fine double act, the best I've seen since Morcombe and Wise), and that one about the IT guys (IT Crowd or something), it's the one where there's a guy with big hair and big glasses and the other a total mess, working in the basement of their organisation with a female manager who knows nothing about computers and suffers from extreme PMT! Anyway, on the whole I enjoy being on the internet finding out about lots of stuff and being part of virtual communities such as this. So what's your preference? Have you got any fave TV programmes or is your PC taking over from that black box in the corner of your living room ?

tv eh! panaseer of the masses, designed to keep people away from the fearful realities of this real world in which we exist, soap operas, reality t.v., game shows all are the barbituates of the arts, mind numbing audio/visual drugs, we should all get our t.v.s, put them in our gas guzzling cars, drive down to london and create a t.v. mountain to stop all the traffic in our pretentious capitol city, therefore not allowing mps to turn up to 'the house' and govern us, freeing us from oppression and dot cottons smalls drying to the dulcit tones of the mitchel stereotypes saying 'ello ma just before they 'slap a geezer'. or is it just me? like scrubs though. ;D

Can't stand the bloody things, only turn the TV on when the world cups on... other than that it's the domain of the Mrs, don't miss it at all.

Reply to Coops: Well said, I like your perspective. I have to agree that Scrubs is a great sit-com even if it is American. I like the verbal abuse Dr Cox gives out to his colleagues, and 'The Janitor' who constantly gives JD a bad time, cracks me up Told you I didn't watch TV Reply to MickD: ;D
