done on many forums but about time we canvassed opinion from jen's posse, what's your favourite sound played on the scene now and also in the past (and the reasons please!!) ;D ;D

'then' and still one of the tops of my list is mel britt - she'll come running back. was at wirrina in 75 and this lad (can't remember his name) had been to the mecca (blackpool) the previous week and was gobbing off about this Mel Britt track. he was saying once you heard it you would never look at northern soul the same way again! i thought "plonker", the next wirrina event some one played it (was it the time curtis guested, or sam?) the man was no plonker, he was a sage, 5:00 am, sun light begining to filter through the curtains, people still wide awake and dancing then Mel Britt was played. changed my outlook on northern soul in the space of 2:35 mins. as for present fav, for me, electrifyingcashmeres - what does it take to win your love, old jnr walker track but amazing vocals (not a new record but not played too often)  |

Not at home just now so haven't got my list of faves to hand and can never remember the artist when I need to  Will get back to you asap coz I do have some faves for October to sort and will get them uploaded eventually  preferably before November ;D |
