August Bank holiday 2006 - what did you do?
Me? I'm still recovering from Soul@Stamford on Friday night, which was excellent, and the Peterborough Beer Festival on Saturday night, which gave me a wee hangover on Sunday morning. Ales included; Rutland Ripper - 8.5% vol and Tally Ho! 7.4% vol. I like my ale to have some umph, rather like my music ;D

Sorry to hear about your sciatica, I'm a sufferer myself, had it bad during the Northampton weekender - it's a real pain in the bum My doctor told me to keep moving (he's having a laugh), he said it's no longer a case of lying flat on a hard surface, like the old days! Hope you feel better soon. PS. Thanks for joining my forum ;D

That's a whole lotta soul Mick Are you now at the point where you keep asking what day it is? And do you keep drifting off in a daze as your mind goes blank and your body tries to compensate for the extreme level of social abuse you just put it through - or is it just me that happens to?

Well, it's Saturday night, just watching the boxing (hubby used to do a bit of boxing so gotta support his choice). Got my lap-top close by of course, along with a nice bottle of Morland's Hen's Tooth (nice strong ale), so I'm posting a quick note to say hope you are all out there supporting the faith (would if I could!), and having a great time. I'm off tomorrow for a week in a B&B - it's not a holiday, honest, it's the beginning of my PGCE course - so the family will be sans mummy for the first time - oooh it's gonna be chaos (shame I'll be so far away). I may not get chance to post for a wee while, it all depends on whether I can grab a PC on campus before all those 'young' students hog them in order to play their games and try to download naughty stuff Please keep posting. All soul brothers and sisters welcome
