Lovely weather we've been having lately Shame I have work coming out of every orifice so I can't enjoy the sunshine, but that's what I get for changing careers at my time of life whilst bringing up the family. The hard work's paying off though cause I've been offered a teaching post, so I'm pretty chuffed about that. Still have to pass my course though, so no slacking Sorry I've been neglecting my site - I will make amends during half-term. Need to get to a doo this month (or two or three if poss), It's my birfday at the end of the month Lost our rabbit the other day; call of nature I reckon, he'd been humping the kid's football like a champ and there's evidence of tunnelling attempts at points around the garden (the great escape) - we've got allotments at the end of the garden so we suspect he's gone to find himself a girlfriend...he better not come back with 100s of bunnies in tow ;D Anyway, hope you are all OK, bye for now...Lovin'

The one you paid a visit too Nice and local (is that a good thing ) Hope the DKOF night went well, sorry I missed it - had a bad day at uni and didn't fancy being social; found out the government and the university have moved the goal posts; the post grad qualification I thought I was getting will now require a minimum of 30 points of a Masters which means my final assignment will have to become a disseration and my journal needs to be full of cr*ap relating theory to practice (it already takes up valid time and interferes with my teaching, so I'm totally peed off, and it is currently not masters level and will need to be improved lots). I will still be a qualified teacher at the end of the course if I don't do the masters credits but I will have what's now called a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education instead. It won't affect my job offer, but it's the principal that matters and the way the change was communicated was very poor - it's not on!! OK, rant over Hope to see you soon, take care Lovin'

Thats the problem with government departments you have people making up the rules who don't understand the game..... as you know I work in a regulated business and they change the goal posts as they see fit and of course Lucy is a nurse ... and you want to see what they are doing to them.
But sometimes you have to bite the bullet, knuckledown and just accept their Sh*t to get what you want at the end of it .... just keep it going six more weeks of graft then you can relax :-) six weeks? does that mean it'll all come to a close on the 22nd June ...... same night as our 2nd night at the DKOF ... come down there and relax mate :-)

As you say you'll be ready for a party on 22nd, hope to get down to DKOF myself too, and the nighter on Sat 23rd. Cheers Alan
