It's a shame so many of our favourite artists did not gain financially from their music, especially when they are revered by so many on the Northern Soul scene.

The next time I listen to one of Tobi's tracks I'll be able to picture her more clearly now and may have a few tears thinking about the suffering she went through when losing her son

You've met her Mick, is she bitter toward everyone or just the UK Northern Scene?

Seems bizare that a lady who has nothing wants mega bucks for attending a weekender in the UK that could possibly kickstart her career again whilst helping her financial situation for a couple of years.

yeah we did meet her and she was lovely, didn't come across as bitter though ... maybe p*ss*d off with the whole Tobi Legend thing, but thats understandable ..... as for mega bucks, if she wants to be paid alot of money to appear over here then that 's up to her... unfortuntely that means we won't be seeing her over these shores, which is a shame... out of interest how much was megabucks?
